Having a suitable career does not work this way | Reference and ...

Many young people have the mistaken belief that if something worked for their friends, it will work for them. That is the reason why you will see the young adults sporting the same shoes and clothes all in the pretext of being cool. They don?t even consider that the person who might have been wearing the clothes was totally differently physically. What they are concerned about is being similar to them. When going to college, parents and counselors should take the time to talk to the young people so that they don?t make mistakes in choosing their vocation. There is no way that three people can have the same desire to do the same thing all because they live in close proximity. Liking a particular career, does not mean that you should go to college to pursue it. A person needs to be passionate about what they want to become in life. If you want to be a doctor, you need to be passionate about helping people to heal and get better. If you fancy the nice suits that doctors wear, then you are definitely in the wrong profession. You need to be a stylist or model. Maybe that is the reason why grants for college do not come easy. You cannot be vague about what you want to become and still expect to be given a grant. The more detailed you are when applying for grant, the better for you as it will show that you really know what you want to do and why you want to do it. As the young people are easily swayed by what is in and what is not, they need a respectable figure to show them the way.
