Arizona defensive tackle Darnell Dockett was fined $15,000 by the NFL for hitting Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton below the knees last weekend and another $15,000 for a horse-collar tackle on Bengals running back Bernard Scott.

Washington safety Reed Doughty was fined $15,000 for striking Minnesota's Christian Ponder in the head and neck area as the quarterback slid. Houston's J.J. Watt received a similar fine for hitting Indianapolis quarterback Dan Orlovsky below the knee.

Atlanta linebacker Curtis Lofton was fined $15,000 for unnecessary roughness for striking New Orleans wide receiver Marques Colston, deemed a defenseless player, in the head and neck area Monday night.

DOLPHINS: Running back Reggie Bush will miss the finale after hurting his right knee.

TEXANS: Wide receiver Andre Johnson will play against Tennessee after missing the last three games because of a strained left hamstring.

VIKINGS: Running back Adrian Peterson had surgery to repair torn ligaments in his left knee.

LAWSUIT: Chiefs quarterback Kyle Orton and some 20 other NFL players are suing a Chicago law firm for more than $10 million, claiming they received bad financial advice on investing in energy concerns.

The lawsuit filed this week in Cook County Circuit Court claims that the negligence of Chuhak & Tecson cost Orton and the other players millions of dollars related to energy investments.
