I say hang on to her ? though can understand the concern after three months with no adjustment?
I just picked up a book that addresses that sort of problem. In a nutshell: make your place more interesting to your cat. Try and give her a windowsill she can get up on, a ?cat tree? (those big carpeted towers) to climb up on, scratch, etc, and some toys. I just picked up an electronic fake mouse that starts blinking lights, making noise, and moving around when it?s swatted by a paw; it?s working well for cat entertainment.
When you?re home, try to have a cat-exhausting play session with her; there are a lot of good toys for that, but even the cheap ?toilet paper on a string? should work.
And, reward her thoroughly when she?s affectionate and playful and otherwise acting well-adjusted.
Good luck!
