Wimbledon Women's Final 2011: Maria Sharapova And Petra Kvitova Face Off (LIVE UPDATES)

The Women's Singles Tournament at Wimbledon is drawing to a close already.

Maria Sharapova And Petra Kvitova are currently facing off to determine who will walk away the 2011 champion. The match commenced at 9 a.m. EDT.

Sharapova, who came into the tournament as the number 5 seed, is yet to have lost a set. The 24-year-old Russian won the event in 2004, but hasn't appeared in the final again until this year.

In 2004, Sharapova won the title, shocking Serena Williams.

This is 21-year-old Kvitova's first grand slam final.
